Pre & Post natal:
In a private or group yoga session with Angie, you will leave the session feeling: • Connected to your baby, your breath and your body • Centred and calm • Aware of helpful acupuncture points to reduce nausea, anxiety and to support labour and in post natal, points to help support baby • Conscious of breathing techniques to support you to relax and be aware of your pelvic floor muscles Pre natal yoga offers a way to reduce the aches and pains that may accompany pregnancy in a nurturing and supportive environment. In these sessions, join other pregnant women (or organise your own private session) as you connect with your baby and breath, strengthen your physical body, bring clarity and ease to your mind through breathing and guided relaxation to support your preparation for a conscious childbirth. Note, acupuncture from week 5 - 12 can help you relax and support the lifting of the foetus, ease morning sickness and general constitutional weakness. It is advised in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principals to really slow down and relax in that first trimester, therefore from 12 weeks is a safe and productive time to join pregnancy yoga. Until then rest and take it easy during that first trimester! Please feel free to join post natal sessions 3 months after birth - until then, enjoy rest with baby. |
