Slow, safe & accessible Yoga sessions
Each slow flow session will generally start with a guided relaxation and breath inquiry to calm and settle the mind and then move through a flowing sequence of gentle yoga positions synchronised with breath to close with a final relaxation.
This is slower paced flow class that really allows time to explore the principals of movement and breath in a slow, safe, gentle and mindful way. “Mindful” meaning aware, conscious, sensitive and alive to the moment! This will deepen your internal body awareness and support you to practice what best serves YOUR body each moment. The overall experience will facilitate you to connect with your breath, release tension, develop strength, suppleness and a sense of ease within. Regular practice will support you to feel relaxed, refreshed and revived! You will be encouraged to take the movements experienced in your session off your mat and into your daily life. Ongoing mindful practices encourages the mind to quieten and the body to heal, ultimately revealing a feeling of centering and calmness. |
